Once you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, there is one more important act of obedience that God desires. The Bible calls it \u201cwater baptism\u201d. This is a public expression of what has taken place in your heart. It is a change of heart.<\/p>

By entering into water baptism, you are identifying with Christ\u2019s death, burial and resurrection. The water symbolizes the washing away of our sins and our beginning a new life led by God\u2019s Holy Spirit.\u00a0Here are some Bible verses that show how you identify with Christ in baptism\u2026<\/p>

Romans 6:3-4<\/strong>\u00a0“…all of us who were baptized<\/strong> into Christ Jesus were baptized<\/strong> into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism<\/strong> into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”<\/p>

Colossians. 2:12<\/strong>\u00a0“…having been buried with him in baptism<\/strong>, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.”<\/p>

Galatians. 3:27\u00a0<\/strong>“For as many of you as have been baptized<\/strong> into Christ have put on Christ.”<\/p>

You will want to find a pastor or person to baptize you. You will also want to search for a local Christian church to attend, as well. Ask God for direction and favor.<\/p>
