abundantly.\u201d John 10:10<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We need to stick as close as we possibly can to the One who overcame and conquered the power of death, and then rose to victory as the captain of our salvation. He is our Lord, our Savior, and our Guide through this life.\u00a0 As the Good Shepherd, He promises to \u201clead\u201d us to a fruitful and abundant life both here on earth, as well as eternally in Heaven. King David of Israel portrays it well in the <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">23<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Psalm<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He refreshes my soul\u2026\u201d <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Jesus is the One who said to his first disciples on the shores of Galilee\u2026 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cFollow Me\u201d<\/span>.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">King David wrote in his 37th psalm,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\"> \u201cDelight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is clearly God\u2019s desire to bless us richly, but not at the expense of our character or fulfilling His purposes in our life. We must remember that He never intended that this life would bring the fulfillment of His blessings and promises.\u00a0 Heaven has always been the end game.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The author of Hebrews challenges us saying,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> \u201cLet us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.\u201d Heb. 12:2<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He then reveals to us the secret of Jesus\u2019 overcoming. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cHe endured the cross, FOR THE JOY that was set before Him.\u201d <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jesus was looking ahead\u2026 to the future time when He would be united with His bride (You and I)\u2026 and that gave Him the strength to endure death on the cross, KNOWING He would have eternity with us in Heaven. Hope and Love are powerful forces that give our faith all that it needs to overcome. If this is how the Son of God endured his trial, how much more we who follow Him\u2026 unto eternal life.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7eafcbb elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7eafcbb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Learn to Trust in God\u2019s character, and not the circumstances<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a1381ce elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a1381ce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">King David wrote in Psalms 34:8 <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oh, taste and see that the Lord is\u00a0good; Happy is the man who\u00a0TRUSTS in Him\u201d <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and again in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">Proverbs 3:5 \u201cTRUST in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Understandably, this is extremely hard to do when the circumstances we are facing seem impossible and God appears to be nowhere in sight.\u00a0 Yet, God is faithful and true to His Word\u2026 always!!\u00a0 As Paul wrote in one place, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cWe walk by faith, not by sight.\u201d <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is not a blind faith as some have called it\u2026 It is a faith that sees through the lens of God\u2019s promises\u2026 a faith that trusts Him to do what He said.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cc53962 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"cc53962\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Recognize your unique God-given talents<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-399558a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"399558a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As was mentioned earlier, the Holy Spirit has equipped each one of us with special attributes and gifts. We need to yield to His prompting and employ them as opportunities are presented to us. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cAnd He gave gifts to men.\u201d Eph. 4:8 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We must always remember that He is the potter and we are the clay. He knows which gifts, talents and abilities suit us best. It honors God when we as His children value the gifts He has given us and seek to use them in following His plan for our lives. The LOVE that Jesus is referring to here is an unconditional love, not a love that needs to be or even can be earned. It is the kind of Love that God has for us. And the same Love that He gives us to give to others in His name.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cThis is my commandment, that you love one another, that your JOY may be full!\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">John 15:12<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is such a great verse! As a reward for walking in love, God promises JOY\u2026 even fullness of joy! This is beyond happiness\u2026 which every man, woman and child seek. This is Joy!&#8230;\u00a0 the very atmosphere of Heaven.\u00a0 The sacrifices of love\u2026 are worth it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Love has been called the chief of all the graces. And is the first in the list of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cAnd the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE\u2026 JOY\u2026 PEACE\u2026\u201d Gal. 5:22<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joy follows Love. Joy is the fruit of Love. This is why the happiest people in the world are always the GIVERS, not the takers. Takers are never satisfied. Givers reap God\u2019s best and receive His promised blessings.
