When we consider that God is the One who created all things\u2026 the universe\u2026 the earth and everything in it\u2026 and particularly mankind\u2026 giving us breath and life and purpose, it makes perfect sense that He would give us a guidebook on how to live this life to its fullest, according to His plan. And that is exactly what He has done. As we can see in the verse below, He is the author of His Word and has given it to us as a valuable gift<\/span><b>,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to help us live a fulfilling life.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All Scripture is\u00a0<\/span><b>inspired by God<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. We begin to understand His purposes for us and even His specific will and calling for us individually.\u00a0 One thing we absolutely see is just how much He loves each and every one of us. In this ever-darkening world we live in today, how refreshing it is to have God\u2019s life-giving Word to impart to us joy, peace and even hope through His precious promises.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. There are numerous verses found throughout the Bible which offer promises for those who love God\u2019s Word\u2026 and particularly for those who read it often and meditate on its words.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cBlessed is the one\u2026 whose delight is in the word of the Lord, and who MEDITATES on His word day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither \u2013 WHATEVER THEY DO PROSPERS.\u201d Psalms 1:1-3<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And again, in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">Joshua 1:7-8, \u201cKeep this Book of the law always on your lips, MEDITATE on it day and night, SO THAT you may be careful to do everything written in it. THEN you will be PROSPEROUS and SUCCESSFUL.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This word \u201cmeditate\u201d has a very special meaning in the scriptures.\u00a0 In the original Hebrew writings, the word meditate actually means to \u201cchew the cud\u201d. For those not raised on a farm, this refers to how a cow chews the grass over and over and over until it is basically a liquid so that it can properly digest it.\u00a0 This is what God would have us to do with His Word.\u00a0 At times, to receive a better understanding of a verse, we need to take hold of it\u2026 and chew on it\u2026 dwell on it\u2026 think on it\u2026 over and over, allowing God\u2019s Holy Spirit to enlighten it and reveal to us what it means, and how we can effectively apply it to our lives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">God wants us to live a victorious and fruitful life in every way and He has given us everything we need to do just that\u2026 <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f971118 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f971118\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">We Need to Know It Well<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-88af2d2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"88af2d2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to Timothy <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cStudy to show yourselves approved to God, a workman that needs not be ashamed. Tim. 2:15-17\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notice, Paul doesn\u2019t just say to \u201cread\u201d the Word, although that is important to do as well\u2026 but rather, he teaches us to \u201cstudy\u201d the Word. Paul is wanting to protect us from error, emphasizing that by studying it, we will be sure to correctly interpret the Word. There are many excellent books that have been written over the centuries, which are here to guide us with the revelations and wisdom that God has shown the authors. These books are surely a great benefit to us, but it needs to be said that the \u201cbest\u201d book to focus on is ultimately the Bible itself\u2026 God\u2019s guidebook and manual for His children.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another powerful verse concerning \u201cknowing\u201d God\u2019s Word is found in<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\"> John 14:26, where Jesus said to His disciples\u2026 \u201cThe Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will REMIND YOU of everything I HAVE SAID TO YOU.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, here is the question\u2026 How can the Holy Spirit remind us of something that we have never heard of or read in the first place? By reading and studying God\u2019s word, we are in essence giving the Holy Spirit the tools to work with\u2026 to remind us of what we need to know\u2026 when we need to know it. It is quite fascinating to watch how the Holy Spirit will put in our minds a special verse of scripture just at the appropriate time when we need it most\u2026 sometimes just for us\u2026 and sometimes for someone else.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-15aea5b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"15aea5b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">It is a Weapon<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1fe8f03 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1fe8f03\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the first things we need to understand is that being a child of God instantly makes us an enemy of God\u2019s enemies. The devil was ultimately defeated over two thousand years ago at the Cross of Jesus, yet God allows him to actively resist us as believers\u2026 all for God\u2019s purposes and for our growth and benefit. One of the most powerful weapons we have against the devil is the Word of God.\u00a0 Jesus exemplifies this perfectly in both <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">Matthew 4<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">Luke 4<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where the devil tempts Him three times\u2026 each time failing, as Jesus strategically quotes the scriptures, directly confronting the temptation saying <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cIt is written\u2026\u201d <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, the devil, having been defeated by the truth of the written Word, leaves Him until a later time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In his epistle to the Ephesians, Paul spoke about putting on the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cArmor of God\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and uses the metaphor <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cThe Sword of the Spirit\u201d <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">referring to the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201cWord of God\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
