More often than not, the person asking the question is seeing life and existence solely through the lens of \u201cthis life\u201d, in other words, \u201cthis temporal life\u2026 on earth\u201d\u2026 with the lifespan of 80, 90 or even 100 years.\u00a0 Their perspective is limited to what happens here\u2026 and stops at the point of death.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, the truth is that this life, as important as it is, is only a tiny fragment of our ultimate existence in eternity\u2026 which lasts \u201cforever\u201d.\u00a0 If this temporary life was \u201call there is\u201d, then it is true that for many, life would seem totally unfair, since some would have such an easier life than others\u2026 but this is not the case.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are the ones who see through that lens\u2026 but our Heavenly Father, the Eternal God, sees things perfectly\u2026 from an eternal and Heavenly perspective.\u00a0 He sees the way things will play out in the future\u2026 and that makes all the difference in the world.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We know and understand God\u2019s \u201cultimate\u201d intentions through the promises He has given us the scriptures. As a matter of fact, the last two chapters of the Bible reveal a brief description of our eternal home in Heaven\u2026 one where God Himself will live \u201cwith us\u201d. Biblically speaking, this temporal life here on earth was never meant to bring total fulfillment to us. It is merely a shadow of the glorious things God has prepared for us in Heaven.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are just a few scriptures which relate to this question and answer:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAnd we know that in all things, God works FOR THE GOOD of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.\u201d Romans 8:28<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBlessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person WILL RECEIVE the CROWN OF LIFE that the Lord has promised to those who love him.\u201d James 1:12<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And concerning our resurrection in the future\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018So will it be with the resurrection of the dead.\u00a0 The body that is sown (this body we have now) is perishable, it is raised (the body we will have) imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So you see, whatever events happen in this life, good or bad, whether sickness or health, a short life or a long one, blessings or hardships\u2026 ultimately God will make it good\u2026 more than good\u2026 unbelievable good\u2026 for those who love Him and follow Him.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The apostle Paul, after he had miraculously visited Heaven, says \u201cI consider that our present sufferings are not worthy to be compared to the GLORY that will be REVEALED IN US.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We must also answer with the importance of TRUSTING IN THE CHARACTER OF GOD, regardless of how things appear here.\u00a0 God is good and everything he does is good. He cannot and will not act otherwise. He does not just KNOW the future, but He HOLDS the future in His hands. Whatever He has promised, He will do. Again, our answer must always fall back upon the loving arms of our Creator, who paid such an incredibly high price for us\u2026 that forever, we will always know how much we are worth to Him.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-5672\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-5672\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Why should I believe in God if I can\u2019t see Him?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-5672\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-5672\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This question draws us to the very definition of faith.\u00a0 The natural mind says \u201cShow me\u2026 and then I\u2019ll believe, however God basically says in the Bible \u201cFirst believe, and then I\u2019ll show you.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One illustration might be the \u201cwind\u201d. We can\u2019t see the wind literally, although we surely see the \u201ceffects\u201d of the wind.\u00a0 We can see that the wind exists by how it affects the things around it. Of course, no intelligent person questions the existence of the wind, yet it is not directly visible. God says in Romans 1, that He has clearly revealed Himself through what He has created\u2026 even to the point where He says that man is \u201cwithout excuse\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">God expects us to understand these things when we observe beautiful sunrises and sunsets, majestic mountains, crystal rivers, singing birds\u2026 the vastness of the universe as we gaze up in the night sky\u2026 the miracle of birth\u2026 eyesight, hearing, touch\u2026 love between two people\u2026 and a myriad of other wonders of this life. God has clearly revealed Himself through these.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scriptures show us story after story that God loves faith\u2026 and how much it \u201cpleases\u201d Him (Hebrews 1:6). One verse, 2 Corinthians 5:7, says it clearly, \u201cWe walk by FAITH, and not by SIGHT\u201d. This is how God in His great wisdom chose to distinguish one person from another. It is in fact the deciding factor in where a person will spend eternity. In one place, Jesus simply says, \u201cDon\u2019t be afraid, only believe\u201d. Mark 5:36. We must become as little children, Jesus said\u2026 and simply trust God\u2019s word that He is who He says He is, and that the future will be just as He says it will be.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lastly, another great answer is to share our own personal story\u2026 our own testimony of what God has done for us.\u00a0 There is little that can be as powerful as our own personal testimony!<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-5673\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-5673\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Why did God allow this thing to happen to me?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-5673\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-5673\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a question that has probably been asked by just about every person at one time in their life. Life has its low points, no matter who the person is. We think to ourselves, \u201cCouldn\u2019t God have just overruled the circumstance and prevented it altogether?\u00a0 And of course, He could. Being omniscient, He knows all things past, present and future.\u00a0 He sees things before they ever happen. So, both the logical and the biblical answer must be that whatever God wills or allows, He knows ultimately will work out according to His eternal plan and for our absolute best.\u00a0 Again, this requires faith and trust in God and His word.\u00a0 Specifically, in the many promises of His word which tell us how much He loves us\u2026 how valuable we are to Him\u2026 and how He plans to bless us in the future\u2026 in Heaven.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-5674\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-5674\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\">I believe when you die, that\u2019s it\u2026 you just cease to exist.<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-5674\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-5674\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are several ways you can approach this question. One is to come back with a question. \u201cReally? Well, suppose you\u2019re wrong? They may say back to you\u2026 \u201cSuppose you\u2019re wrong?\u201d You can then say, \u201cIf I\u2019m wrong, and you\u2019re right\u2026 then we are both in the same boat\u2026 it ends the same for both of us\u201d \u201cBut if I\u2019m right and you\u2019re wrong\u2026 then you have missed the boat\u201d.\u00a0 \u201cIt will NOT end the same for both of us\u201d.\u00a0 Because God\u2019s word says that there ONLY TWO places that a man will go after death\u2026 either Heaven or Hell\u201d. \u201cAre you willing to gamble with your eternity?\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another good answer goes like this\u2026 \u201cMan, you have A LOT OF FAITH!\u201d Then they may say something like, \u201cWhat do you mean\u2026 You are the religious one?\u201d Then you can say, \u201cNo\u2026 you have MUCH MORE FAITH than I do\u201d\u00a0 \u201cFor me, all I have ever known is living\u2026 is existing\u2026 All I can ever remember is being here\u2026 being alive.\u201d It doesn\u2019t require much faith for me to believe that I will just \u201ckeep on existing\u2026 keep on living\u201d.\u00a0 Now you, on the other hand\u2026 You believe in something that you or I have never seen or experienced. You believe that someday, you will not be alive\u2026 even though you have never experienced that.\u00a0 You see, your way of thinking requires much more faith than mine does!\u201d <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-10729f2e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"10729f2e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\u0421\u04af\u043d\u0441\u044d\u044d\u0440 \u0443\u0434\u0438\u0440\u0434\u0443\u0443\u043b\u0441\u0430\u043d \u0438\u0442\u0433\u044d\u043b<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5b5b20e5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5b5b20e5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Equally important as the answers we give are the impressions we make, whether it be through our countenance, our expressions or the tone of our voice. People can generally perceive whether \u201cwe actually believe\u201d what we are saying or not\u2026 and that carries a tremendous weight when we are trying to convince someone of a truth. This is not something that can be \u201cfaked\u201d or \u201ccovered over\u201d, and neither should it ever be. The truth can stand on its own feet.\u00a0 God\u2019s word is a powerful force and doesn\u2019t need any help. The scripture tells us in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">Proverbs 28:1 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">\u201crighteous are bold as a lion.\u201d <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We know that Christ is our righteousness, so if we are speaking that which is consistent with His word, we should convey an unmistakable confidence, not with pride or arrogance\u2026 and surely not with defensiveness, but with the strength of humility.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another confidence-building verse is found in<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">Matthew 10:19<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Concerning times when we may be facing challenging questions or even persecution, Jesus tells us, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cAt that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you\u201d<\/span>. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How exciting is that? God will be doing the speaking for us\u2026 and through us!<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-40941108 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"40941108\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\"I Don't Know\"<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5bd0c2f1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5bd0c2f1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sometimes the answer is simply \u201cThat is a good question, and I don\u2019t know the answer\u201d. In these cases, our humility can often disarm the person and cause them to actually listen from the heart instead of the head. If you think you will be seeing them again, you may want to go back to the Bible for the answers. Study and do research on the topic.\u00a0 Find the answers.\u00a0 This could in fact be the Lord wanting to \u201cteach YOU something\u201d.
