About The Heaven Guy
Our story
The Heaven Guy is a multi-faceted Christ-centered ministry that offers highly effective and innovative methods to bring as many people as possible into Heaven, and to encourage God’s people to become more Heaven-minded.
With millions having never heard the message of Jesus Christ, we have developed a dynamic video which shares the gospel, presented by people from 12 different nations of the world and ends with a salvation prayer, potentially bringing countless people to Christ.
To attract people to the video and website, we have created 11 colorful “Heaven Cards”, which are beautifully designed plastic cards with a compelling thought or scripture, and our website address is boldly represented on the back of each card.
As people from across the world receive Heaven Cards and go to the website, they are able to watch the salvation video and pray to receive Christ right then.
Following their prayer, they are then able to experience the “Roadmap to Heaven”, an elementary discipleship course starting them on their new journey in Christ.
The website also offers an evangelistic training program called “Fishers of Men”, designed to equip the believer to confidently share their faith.
To provide the new believer with fellowship in a local church family, the site offers users access to a global database of churches and online ministries.
Our goals for 2022 are to develop a fully animated 3D salvation video in five major languages and to distribute one million Heaven cards worldwide.

Mike Tobey
Executive Director
Mike is a Florida native, presently living in North Palm Beach. His precious wife Kathy, went home to Heaven in October of 2019 and has been the inspiration for The Heaven Guy ministry. He has 3 grown children, Jonathan, Summer and Jesse, and 4 grandchildren, Everest, Evelyn, Elsie and Knox.
Mike has been in Christian ministry for over 40 years, serving in many capacities such as pastor, teacher, author and motivational speaker. He has travelled extensively throughout the world in short term missions. Mike is a former Spring Training Chaplain for the St. Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball Team and has also been an active Law Enforcement Chaplain and Trainer for the last 12 years.
He is the Founder and Director of The Heaven Guy ministry, and is passionate about bringing as many people as possible to Heaven, and encouraging God’s people to become more Heaven-minded.
Kevin MacDonald
Executive Producer
Pastor Kevin was ordained in June 2014 and now serves as an associate pastor at The River of Life Church in Tolland Connecticut with his wife Kathy and their two children. Kevin is zealous about the Gospel message and preaches it powerfully both in the church and on the streets. He has a passion to reach the lost, disciple the found and build the church.
Prior to full time ministry Kevin spent 30 years in digital arts and technology development working for fortune 500 companies throughout the United States. He now brings his leadership and creative talents to serve The Heaven Guy mission to “Get as many people to Heaven as possible”.
David Newcombe
Senior Board Member
David was born in Cape Town, South Africa. On February 26, 1986 he was radically born-again and returned to preach in the bars that he had frequented most of his adult life. David has been blessed by 35-years of an incredible marriage to a Proverbs 31 wife and ministry partner, Rozanne, two gifted children, Jaclyn and Josh, a talented son-in-law, Justin, and two precious little grandsons, Julian and Jaco.
He attended the University of Cape Town and earned a B.Arts degree, a Teaching Diploma, a Certificate in Accountancy and a B.Comm (Honours) degree. David is an ordained & licensed Minister of the Gospel. In 2006, David and his wife founded Livingstone Mission Centre (“LMC-Africa”) a missions training school with a teaching campus in Kazungula, Zambia.
David and Rozanne had the privilege of presiding over the marriage of Mike & Kathy so "The Heaven Guy" ministry is a continual reminder of Kathy's presence and encouragement in our lives, and prompt to keep our spiritual eyes open to the reality of a heavenly eternity.
